What is meta aramid thread?
Meta Aramid sewing thread (commonly known as aramid 1313 or Nomex) ®） It is a special sewing thread made spun poly (m-phenylenediamine) (PMIA). Its core advantages lie in excellent long-term high temperature resistance, intrinsic flame retardancy, and outstanding thermal insulation, making it the preferred suture material for long-term reliable operation in extreme hot environments.
Core Performance Features
Long term use temperature: Up to 200-220 ℃, with a strength retention rate of 75% after 1000 hours in a dry and hot environment at 200 ℃
Thermal decomposition temperature: Decomposition begins at around 370 ℃ and does not melt.
Flame retardancy (LOI): Ultimate oxygen index ≥ 28-30%, self extinguishing upon ignition, no molten droplets.

Application
Thermal protective clothing (PPE): The stitching of the insulation lining and waterproof breathable layer of the firefighter’s firefighting suit.Arc protection clothing, high-temperature resistant workwear for metallurgical, glass, and ceramic factories.
High temperature filtration and industrial dust removal: This is the largest application market for aramid sewing thread. Used for sewing high-temperature flue gas dust removal filter bags for cement plants, steel plants, and coal-fired power plants.
