Embroidery Thread

Embroidery thread: Made from processed polyester filament, it is currently the most commonly used thread in computer embroidery. Its core features include: ① high strength, chemical corrosion resistance, and the ability to withstand high tensile forces during high-speed operation of embroidery machines, resulting in higher machine operating efficiency; ② Washable, suitable for hotel uniforms, jeans and other frequently washed clothes; ③ High fire resistance, even close to flames, it is not easy to catch fire. The disadvantage is that it is more elastic and prone to shrinkage under tension, which may cause wrinkles on the embroidery surface and require precise adjustment of the thread tension.

This thread is highly recommended for children’s clothing because it has a high level of protection from shrinkage, fading, or bleeding.

Polyester embroidery thread has strong protection from bleaching, even against chlorine solution. The polyester thread gives an effect close to that of rayon, and it is also produced in varying colors.

Like rayon thread, polyester embroidery thread gives little room for breakage and frays. The sheen of polyester is, however, not as high as that of rayon thread.
